Suprima S to be won in contest.
Proton Edar has launched its nationwide “It’s in the Drive” campaign with a special “Test Drive & Win” contest that will see a premium variant of the Proton Suprima S given away as the grand prize.
The campaign is already underway and will be stopping at key public locations and shopping malls nationwide until March 31 2016. Visitors to the roadshow will be able to participate in the contest with prizes that include a 42-inch LCD television, electronic gadgets such as mobile phones and iPad minis worth about RM150,000 in total up for grabs; including a Suprima S as the grand prize.
“Proton has been a national carmaker for the last 30 years and we look forward to more years to come to remain relevant and contribute to the nation’s growth. Echoing our chairman’s challenge to the public to “just come and test drive Proton cars,” this campaign is to create awareness of how Proton cars have evolved from the first Saga. The only way to know the difference is to take our cars for a test drive and at the same time, stand a chance to win prizes,” said Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah, chief executive officer, Proton Holdings Bhd.
The campaign offers a 2.8 per cent interest rate for all Proton cars and a special graduate scheme with monthly instalments from as low as RM258 a month. Additionally, existing Proton owners that are looking to purchase a new Proton vehicle will be eligible for a rebate up to RM3,000 under the Loyalty Reward
As part of the Loyalty Reward programme, existing Proton owners can trade-in their existing Proton for a new Proton car at a rebate of RM100 for each year of their current vehicle age.
Lastly, discounts of up to RM6,200 on selected 2015 new Proton models is also available.
“We have always emphasised that Proton is not just about making cars and with this campaign, it is about experiencing the drive as well. We would like our customers to feel and experience the cars. It’s the only way to understand the level of engineering that has been put into each Proton model that we have built,” added Harith.
As part of the ongoing Chinese New Year safety campaign, Proton car owners are also encouraged to take advantage of the free 30-point safety inspection and walk away with a special price for service packages for their scheduled inspection. All Proton merchandise will also be available at a 30 per cent discount during the campaign period.
To participate in the “Test Drive & Win” contest, Malaysians with a valid IC and driving license will be eligible and can head over to any Proton showroom nationwide and test drive any Proton model, fill in the test drive form, answer several simple questions and participants will then stand a chance to win a weekly prize.
Customers that have successfully booked their car during this campaign will be in the running to win the Suprima S.
