Perodua begins export of Myvi and Alza to Brunei

AAJ_8977 (v3)Perodua is exporting a total of 310 units of the Myvi 1.5SE and Alza 1.5SE models to Brunei this year in an effort to further improve its export presence.

Perodua President and CEO, Datuk (Dr) Aminar Rashid Salleh said, “This is a major step forward for Perodua to strengthen our brand presence in the region as we strive to become a player in ASEAN auto market in the years to come.”

Perodua began exporting to Brunei in 1996 with the Perodua Kancil and have exported a total of 2,300 vehicles to the Kingdom as of end 2015.

“We believe that there is demand for these models in this country as the acceptance of compact vehicles is gradually growing,” Aminar said.

The Perodua Myvi and Alza were launched by Brunei Minister of Communications, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh, Datuk (Dr) Aminar and Mr Kurinami Takamasa, Perodua Executive Director.
