National Auto Policy

News of the National Auto Policy?

We should be able to know by the first week of December if there is a cabinet reshuffle including a new Prime Minister.

The first phase of NAP 2019 will kick off next year until 2023-2024 is a continuity of NAP 2014 emphasizing on policies improvement in terms of new technology and human capital.

More than anything else, the year-long delay of the NAP reflects the silo-fixated government.

And having said that, industry observers note that It is not that simple to introduce the New National Auto Policy. There are many hurdles to overcome especially during this near recession time.

It’s also obvious that the government is not all that focussed on many matters.

“I believe that there is something brewing within the cabinet and we should be able to know by 1st week of December. It can be either PM is stepping down or a Cabinet reshuffle,” said an industry participant who did not want to be identified. #motormemy
