“The MARii Industry 4.0 e-Learning Centre serves as a platform to cultivate continuous learning for all Malaysians through digital technologies. Since it is an online platform, all Malaysians can access the knowledge and skills imparted– on demand”, said Dato’ Madani Sahari, CEO MARii.
The Centre starts with two e-learning programmes(which are free), focusing on Augmented Reality (AR) and cloud computing with simulation-driven design, with more to be announced in the future.
The MARii Industry 4.0 e-Learning Centre will feature online courses, webinars and events for both professionals and the general public.
The first programme is a 60-minute Webinar session called CATIA V5 Augmented Reality focusing on AR Technology in Industries, Introduction to Unity and Vuforia and comes with a practical component to allow participants to perform basic AR development, guided by the trainer.
Dato’ Madani also explained that the current Movement Control Order (MCO) is a great time for those at home to experience the benefits of online learning.
tambahan pula, the MARii Industry 4.0 e-Learning Centre will continue to be developed even after the MCO is lifted, with planned expansions to the library of courses, modules and webinars to ensure the programmes are always up to date with the latest developments surrounding the automotive industry and overall mobility.
“While on-site training will still be relevant once the MCO is lifted, I hope the MCO will ease us in into a new dimension of learning through the cloud, so that Malaysians are continuously provided easy access to various tools such as software, reading materials and exercises that are necessary for their improvement, on-the-go and on-demand.”, said Dato’ Madani.
The Inspire CAE Program, focused on simulation-driven design will be launched soon with topics such as Finite Element Analysis(FEA) and Structural Optimisation, through the utilisation of Altair software including HyperWorks & SolidThinking.
The two free programmes that are part of the initial launch of the MARii Industry 4.0 e-Learning Centre are co-developed between MARii and its technology partners – Feiran Technology Sdn. Bhd. and ORS Technologies Sdn. Bhd. to expedite this online learning programme while highlighting the benefits of digitalisation in ensuring continuous development of Industry 4.0 knowledge and skills among Malaysians.
