Launch: Peugeot Service Klang to better serve Pug owners

As part of an aggressive expansion exercise, Peugeot Service Klang is the third new outlet launched by Nasim this year and the 18th Peugeot outlet in the Klang Valley including the impending official opening of another in Kajang next week.

Having already serviced about 70 cars before official launch on June 10 2015, Peugeot Service Klang — complimenting the sales only Peugeot Klang branch — brings the total of 2S centres to four, including those in Puchong, Petaling Jaya and Balakong.

The new centre — owned and operated by UDH Ventures Sdn Bhd — was built with an investment of RM1 million and measures 10,500 sq ft in built-up area with seven service bays and a capacity for turnover of 20 cars per day.

Peugeot customers who bring their vehicles to the service centre from June 10 to July 15 will receive an original Peugeot t-shirt and be in the running to win an iPad Mini just by answering three questions about Peugeot.

Speaking at the launch, Datuk Samson Anand George, COO of Nasim Sdn Bhd, is proud that Nasim will be able to better serve their customers in the area and increase the reach of Peugeot aftersales in the region.

“Our presence in Klang brings us to a total of 155 service bays nationwide with the capacity to serve over 15,000 cars per month. Owned and operated by UDH Ventures Sdn Bhd, the service centre has 7 bays with the capability to service up to 20 Peugeots per day.”

“The first five months of this year has been challenging for the whole industry, however we are confident in the brand’s sustainability with the launch of new models such as the award winning 308 THP and 508 including one C-segment executive sedan in the pipeline,” he adds.

He goes on to say that sales are targeted to hit 4200 units this year, which is a 30 percent reduction in projections to match the slight downturn in the automotive industry.

Datuk Samson however believes that Peugeot will still be able to maintain its position among the top three European brands in the country alongside its current 18 percent market share.

Nasim’s 24-hour Peugeot Assistance service and five-year unlimited mileage warranty comes standard with all models as does complimentary Peugeot Lounge access and Peugeot Privilege membership.
