hanya Dilancarkan: Subaru Levorg unveiled in TaiwanPOSTED BY ON 14 oktober 2015
UNVEILED today in Taipei, Taiwan was the brand new Subaru Levorg station wagon.
Subaru’s latest people mover combines the performance and practicality of a tourer with the stylish design and feel of a sports car.
But what’s in a name? baik, as we later found out, “Levorg” was derived from a combination of the words ‘legacy’, ‘revolution’ and ‘touring’.
Available in two options – 1.6 GT dan 1.6 GT-S – the Levorg AWD inherits Subaru’s newly-developed 1.6-litre direct injection turbocharged (DIT) boxer engine, which was inspired by the EJ25 (2.5L NA) found under the hood of the Legacy 2.5i.
“Our engineers aimed to develop a better engine with enhanced fuel economy and performance,” the company said.
The 1.6-litre Horizontally-Opposed DIT boxer engine – paired with a Lineatronic CVT – churns out about 168hp of output and 250Nm of torque, offering both sheer driving pleasure and a claimed fuel economy of 7.4L/100km.
After years of upgrading and refining its Symmetrical AWD, Subaru developed a system which combines the vehicle dynamics control and the active torque vectoring systems, allowing drivers to securely push the wagon with more confidence.
While keeping the exterior size of the Levorg nimble, the Levorg has achieved the largest cargo space of 522-litre. yang 1.6 GT-S, which is 1,490mm high, is slightly taller than its GT sibling by 5mm but possesses the same length and width at 4,690mm and 1,780mm respectively.
In front, the Levorg sports a unique hexagon grille and hawk eye headlights. Features available behind closed doors include the SI-Drive (Subaru’s Intelligent Drive) system – which allows a driver to select between the Intelligent mode or Sport mode, a multi-touch infotainment system, rain sensing wipers, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, electronic parking brake as well as a smart entry and push-start function.
The GT-S , bagaimanapun, is equipped with High Beam Assists and the Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection (SRVD) function for added safety and convenience. Cars Bikes & Trucks understands that these functions are only available in Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam markets.
It has also come to our attention that the Subaru Levorg – only the GT-S variant – is expected to arrive on Malaysian shores by the second quarter of 2016.
