Isuzu Malaysia recently delivered two units of the newly launched Isuzu Giga FXZ360 cement mixer truck to Hamzah Ibir Sdn Bhd, a Terengganu-based construction company.

The units were sold by Dynamic Motors Sdn Bhd, an authorised Isuzu dealer located in Kuantan, Pahang, headed by Donald Chan.

The Isuzu Giga FXZ360 is powered by an in-line six-cylinder engine fitted with both a turbocharger and intercooler, generating 360Ps and 1,422Nm of torque that is fed into a nine-speed ZF gearbox.

The cement mixer truck has a 6×4 drivetrain and a factory-fitted Power Take Off to turn the cement drum.

“As a construction company, we wanted the 6×4 to overcome the off-road terrain of work sites. We also liked Isuzu’s well-known reliability and durability, aside from offering fuel-efficiency and excellent after-sales service,” said Hamzah Ibir’s managing director, Datuk Haji Khaidir.

“Isuzu’s reputation as a high-quality, reliable and efficient truck manufacturer is the cornerstone of its global success. In Malaysia, Isuzu has become the best-selling truck brand, especially in the light duty truck segment for eight consecutive years, in addition to being the No. 1 preferred brand for commercial vehicle trucks in four consecutive years,” said Isuzu Malaysia’s chief executive officer, Koji Nakamura.
