In support of the Government’s efforts to make riding safer, Naza Premira SdnBhd, the sole importer and distributor of Vespa vehicles in Malaysia, has collaborated with Metro Driving Academy to offer free riding lessons to obtain B2 licences with every purchase of selected Vespa models.

The signing ceremony between NazaPremiraSdnBhd and Metro Driving Academy was witnessed by the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

Naza Premira’s chief operating officer Farouk Faisal commented, “While it is common knowledge that it is compulsory to have a riding license to operate a motorcycle, many motorcycle riders in Malaysia do not comply with this law.”

Managing director of Metro Driving Academy, Mat Aris Bakar said, “Our motto has always been to ensure that all our students pass their riding license test. If they don’t, we will make sure that they are re-trained until they pass.”

The Vespa Primavera ABS 150 and Vespa Sprint ABS 150 – apart from being chic and stylish – come standard with fuel-efficient i-GET (Green Engine Technology) engines and anti-lock braking system (ABS), making Vespa the first small scooter brand on the market to offer the latter. Creature comfort includes a USB charging port for mobile phones.

Already possess a valid riding license? There is still a benefit for seasoned riders as the company is offering a six month free petrol incentive under their ‘Vespa, why drive? Let’s ride…’ campaign.
