First Jaguar SUV out in early-2016
POSTED BY ON 12 January 2015JAGUAR will roll out its first ever SUV, the Jaguar F-Pace, in early-2016.
The F-Pace will be the production version of the C-X17 SUV concept, which was first revealed in Frankfurt in September 2013, WhatCar? has reported.
The firm said that the SUV could be very identical in size and appearance to the C-X17, and could be in the run for Jaguar’s best-selling models alongside the upcoming XE sedan Diesel.
The F-Pace is expected to be about 40cm longer than the Range Rover Evoque, but shares the same height at 1.65m.
Jaguar did not disclose details for the SUV’s engine but the rumour mill is tipping that it could come in the form of a 3.0-litre supercharged petrol V6 engine found in the Jaguar F-Type, as well as a bagful of luxury kit.
Pricing of the entry-level F-Pace models could begin from Stg35,000 (RM188,580).
