NST Maybank People's Choice

  1. The contest is open to all Motorme.my readers who are 18 years and above and whose nationality is Malaysian.
  2. Employees of Aideah Communication Sdn Bhd (Organiser) and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
  3. You need to choose ONLY one (1) car and tell us why you have chosen it in less than 150 words in order participate in the contest.
  4. Each contestant is entitled to cast only one (1) vote. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
  5. The contest duration starts from 12/10/2015 and ends at 11.59pm on 16/11/2015. The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to alter or end the contest duration at any time prior without prior notice.
  6. Winners will be contacted via email. Failure to respond within 10 days or reply to the Organiser will result in the prizes being forfeited. The prizes will be transferred to the next winner/winners. Please check your spam folder in your mailbox in case the emails go astray.
  7. Only one prize is allowed per contestant. Winners are required to pick up their prize on a date and location to be determined by the Organiser. In the event that the prizes are not picked up by any of the winners within 15 days, the organiser reserves the right to forfeit the prize and/or transfer the prize to the next winner/winners.
  8. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash and the Organiser reserves the right to exchange the prize with that of a similar value without prior notice.
  9. Contestants with multiple entries and /or invalid personal details will be rejected. The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify the contestants.
  10. The Organiser reserves the right to keep all contest information confidential.

Please note that these Terms & Conditions may be revised and reissued without notice at any time by updating this posting and you agree that no liability shall be attached to Aideah Communication Sdn. Bhd. and that you have no right to claim any compensation as a result thereof. You should visit this page regularly to review the current Terms & Conditions, since your continued use of the Site will be deemed as irrevocable acceptance of any revisions. Any such revisions may include extending the Terms & Conditions to include other terms and conditions applicable to other products or services offered by Aideah Communication Sdn. Bhd. from time to time.
  14. The Organiser does not warrant that the content or services at Motorme.my for the contest shall be uninterruptible and/or error free. By participating in the contest, you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally agree and acknowledge that the Organizer shall not in any manner whatsoever be held liable for any data loss, interruptions, delays, errors or virus caused to your computer, inadequacies, omissions, delays and/or any error arising from the contest or from the loss of contestants’ data or otherwise.
  15. In no event shall the Organiser be liable for any loss or damage (including, without limitation, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the contest and/or the prizes.
  16. You shall assume full liability in the case of any mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents resulting from your participation in the contest and/or redemption of the prizes.
  17. The Organiser also reserves the right to change the prizes to anything of equivalent value without prior notice.
  18. The Contest is not open to the Maybank personnnels permanent and/or contract employees or any of its subsidiary(ies), their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters) and the Contest Organiser’s representatives and/or agents and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters), including the Contest Organiser’s advertising & promotion agents and vendors who are directly involved with the Contest.
  19. By participating in the Contest, the Participants hereby fully and irrevocably assign and transfer to the Contest Organiser all worldwide rights, title, and interests in the Entries and all other intellectual property rights of whatever nature in the Entries including the copyright therein, together with the right to make any changes, adaptation or modifications whatsoever to the Entries for the purposes of marketing, advertising and trade without compensation to the Participants whether the usage is arising from, with respect to or in connection with the Contest or otherwise and whether by way of direct marketing or electronic marketing or otherwise to the Participants or other party whosoever. The Participant shall do all things and execute all documents necessary as may be required by the Contest Organiser to enforce any of the rights promised to the Contest Organiser herein.
  20. The Participants hereby fully and irrevocably release and discharge the Contest Organiser from all claims and demands whatsoever which the Participants may have or which may arise out of the rights granted to the Contest Organiser in relation to the Contest.

    Other Conditions

  21. All materials in respect of the Contest including the details on “How to” shall form part of the T&Cs herein. In the event of any inconsistency between the T&Cs and any of the advertising, promotional or publicity materials in relation to or in connection with the Contest, the T&Cs shall prevail.
  22. The Contest Organiser is not and shall not be held responsible for any delay, error or any other problems whatsoever caused in the operation of the Contest due to or arising from the breakdown and/or technical malfunction of any computer on-line-systems, servers and/or providers, computer equipment, and/or software, failure of e-mail on account of technical problems and/or traffic congestion on the Internet and/or at any web site and/or the telecommunication service and/or a combination thereof, including injury and/or damage to any of the Participants and/or to any other person's computer and/or mobile phone related to and/or resulting from participating and/or downloading materials in connection with the Contest.
  23. In no event will the Contest Organiser or its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries or related companies, their respective advertising or promotion agencies or their respective officers, directors, employees, members, shareholders, attorneys, representatives or agents whosoever (collectively, “the Affiliates”), be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of the Participant’s acceptance of the Prizes, the use of the Prizes, their entry into the Contest, or their participation in any activity related to the Contest of the Prize. By entering into the Contest, the Participants hereby fully release and irrevocably agree to hold harmless the Contest Organiser and the Affiliates from and against any and all rights, demands, claims, causes of action, losses, damages, costs and expenses whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise in respect of the Contest, the Prize or otherwise whether in whole or in part, and whether directly or indirectly.
  24. The Contest Organiser and the Affiliates make no warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness of the Prizes for a particular purpose. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing or anything in the T&Cs, the Contest Organiser and the Affiliates shall not be liable for any defect in or malfunction of the Prizes, and the Participants shall fully assume all risks and liabilities in connection with and associated with the use of the Prizes.
  25. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, the Contest Organiser reserves the right to amend, add, replace, vary and/or modify the T&Cs. Participants of the Contest confirms acceptance of the T&Cs including any amendments, additions, replacements, variations and modifications hereto, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
  26. The Contest and the T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
  27. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
  28. Personal information and/or any data including images (“Data”) collected and/or received from the Participants will be subjected to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
