Car servicing right at your door stepPOSTED BY Kaynis Chong ON 14 September 2017
Have you taken a day off work or struggled to arrange a weekend slot just to service your car? Servicing a car can be a troublesome affair, especially when trying to find a convenient time that would not disrupt your hectic schedule.
Fortunately, MisterTyre is a newly-launched mobile application in Malaysia that allows you to service your car at a place and time that is convenient for you while offering affordable pricing, seven days a week.
All you need to do is download the MisterTyre app from Google Play Store and register your details to start enjoying convenience at your door step.
MisterTyre Sdn Bhd founder and managing director Dennis Melka believes it makes no sense for car owners in the digital age to waste their valuable time in tyre and repair shops.
He says, “You do not carry your refrigerator to the refrigerator repair store nor do you carry your washing machine to the washing machine repair store on weekends or after work. Why must drivers be forced to take their cars to the tyre or repair store for new tyres or an oil change? MisterTyre delivers this service to the customer at a location of their choosing via a simple-to-use mobile app.”
This innovative app is the first-of-its kind in Asia and it offers car owners convenience unlike any other while also delivering incredible savings due to its streamlined supply chain that involves participation from tyre manufacturers and no expensive retail stores.
“Online tyre purchases have rapidly taken market share in Europe over the last decade through industry leaders such as Blackcircles and Etyres. In addition, mobile tyre service is fast becoming the industry standard in Europe through market leaders such as Tyres-on-the-Drive, Kwikfit and Delticom. MisterTyre is now at the forefront of both these market trends in Asia and has combined them in an easy-to-use app which even tracks the MisterTyre technician as he arrives at your home or office,” says Melka.
Once you have confirmed your oil, battery or tyre purchases, the app will then ask for the time and location you would like to service your car. At the time comes, a MisterTyre service truck will then head to your appointed service location.
In addition to bringing your ordered products, the MisterTyre truck is filled with all the necessary tools and machinery to service your car, including equipment for tyre balancing and alignment.
Unlike many tyre retail stores that are affiliated with various suppliers and wholesalers, MisterTyre is totally independent, carrying up to 23 global tyre brands with models in the value, mid and premium range. This allows the company to offer products that fit your budget and a much wider selection that what is available in stores.
Melka says, “Pricing is displayed in a transparent easy-to-use format with no gimmicks or up-sell. Car owners can buy with confidence that all parts are genuine and our revolutionary inventory system ensures a perfect fit for your car irrespective of price range.”
MisterTyre will start servicing the Klang Valley but plans to expand to Johor, Penang and Perak towards the end of the year. The app is currently only available on Google Play Store but will soon be available on the Apple App Store.
