In his first public address as the CEO and managing director of Boon Siew Honda, Nobuhide Nagata said: “By introducing this new model, we hope to increase our market share compared to last year.”
Nagata (right) said that with the RS150R, Boon Siew Honda hoped to reclaim its No 1 spot in the Malaysian market.
On a world level, Honda aimed to sell 20 million motorcycles and expand market share from 33 percent to 35 percent this year.
“Looking back at last year, Honda sold 17 million motorcycles worldwide. This is about three times more than the world’s second largest bike company,” said Shinji Aoyama, Honda Motor Operating Officer and Director Chief Operating Officer Motorcycle Operations.
