My Auto Fest 2016

The  sales oriented My Auto Fest  show organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) is receiving strong support from leading car brand owners.

“We have received encouraging response from those who value this sales promotion platform, with over 90% of the key industry players having confirmed participation,” said MAA president Datuk Aishah Ahmad.

Car companies who have confirmed participation are Proton Edar, Honda Malaysia, UMW Toyota, Peugeot, Kia, Citroen, Edaran Tan Chong, Sime Darby Auto Connnexion, Jaguar Land Rover (M) Sdn Bhd, Volvo Cars, Motor Image Malaysia, Daihatsu Sales Sdn Bhd and Daihatsu Motors Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

“The organising committee is aggressively promoting this event to encourage more MAA members as well as other auto related and accessory companies to participate.

“This event is a good opportunity for car companies to hype up their sales leading up to the Hari Raya festive season by ensuring visitors get the best deals than anywhere else,” said Datuk Aishah.

“We are also inviting banks and insurance companies to participate in the auto show.

“No entrance fee to the venue at Mines International Exhibition & Convention  will be charged to draw in more visitors, especially families, to the show, with several activities lined up for the whole family to enjoy.

“There will be opportunity to test drive multi-brand cars at the outdoor area of the venue.

“Parking is easy too, with ample parking space at the venue’s basement car park as well as at the Mines Shopping Complex,” said Datuk Aishah.

Balloting of booths was carried out on 23 March according to the size of booth taken.  Where there were companies taking the same size booth, all picked a ball from the ballot box at the same time, and the person with the smaller number was given the privilege to choose first.

The  test drive tent balloting  will be held on 20 April.
