As an industry body representing new motor vehicle distributors and manufacturers in Malaysia, the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) strongly encourages vehicle owners to replace the faulty airbag inflators that were manufactured by Takata of Japan.
This is vital in not only improving the level of safety of vehicles but in reducing road fatalities.
Though MAA members have initiated many efforts in reaching out to affected vehicle owners, there are still many cars with faulty airbag inflators on Malaysian roads.
Owners of the affected vehicle models who have yet to get their airbag inflators replaced are strongly urged to contact the distributor of the vehicleimmediatelyto receive the free remedy repair for their cars.
