MALAYSIA’S Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup has expanded to include the E 250 in Avantgarde and Exclusive Line variants giving potential buyers a choice of four models to choose from.

The E 250 with Avantgarde Line features a sports radiator grille with a large Mercedes star as its centrepiece for a more dynamic and sportier look.

The radiator trim with 2 louvres in matt iridium silver with chrome inserts and a centrally positioned Mercedes star looks distinctly different to the standard specification front section. The soft nose appears to lengthen the bonnet and emphasises its sporty appearance, as do the diamond-meshed air intakes in the front bumper. The car comes with 19-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels.

The new E 250 Exclusive Line is the luxury model with “refined details”, such as the upgraded front bumper specific to this line with chrome trim elements, differentiate it from the other design and equipment lines. The radiator trim with three louvres and radiator grille with a three-dimensional frame and the Mercedes star on the bonnet suit the classical design perfectly.

Both vehicles are equipped with enhanced MULTIBEAM LED headlamps — equipped with 84 individually activated high-performance LEDs that light up the road without dazzling other road users.

They are also equipped with COMAND Online, which leaves virtually nothing to be desired in terms of infotainment, navigation and communication in the cockpit.

With Parking Pilot and 360° camera, all-round vision is made possible by the reversing cameras and three other additional cameras. Observation of the areas to the side and directly in front of the vehicle thus helps during parking and manoeuvring. The information from Parking Pilot and the cameras are graphically presented in full HD on the vehicle’s Widescreen Cockpit.

“Following the launch of the all new E-Class model in June, the E 200 Avantgarde Line, we have received an overwhelming response for the saloon and now we are pleased to announce the prices and specifications of the additional three variants that will be available in the coming months. With the three available variants, we provide our discerning Malaysian customers a wide variety of premium luxury limousines to choose from,” says Mark Raine, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
