Bufori looking to expand to meet rising demandPOSTED BY admin ON 18 July 2012
With Bufori gaining traction in the Chinese market, the Malaysian-based company is turning to the global job market in seeking talented tradesmen with a substantial level of experience to expand their workforce and increase productivity at their factory in Kepong to meet rising demand.
“It has proven incredibly challenging to find suitable tradesmen to complement our existing team. No doubt, we have amongst the best Malaysia has to offer but this is just not enough,” explained Gerry Khouri, managing director and co-founder of the Bufori Motor Car Company. “In view of the current demand, we now need to find more qualified people, even if it means sourcing foreign talent to solve this dilemma.”
As Bufori’s model line-up consists of hand-built cars with a degree of customisation, Bufori are seeking trained carpenters, composite laminators, metal workers, welders, leather workers, and body preparation and painters.
“Although we are happy to receive many applications from fresh graduates and take our mission to train inexperienced workers very seriously, our current focus lies on finding experienced staff that are able to instantly put their acquired skills to use,” said Azrai Razuan, Bufori’s general manager of production.
